Job Title: Scheduler
Duration: 12 Months Contract (Possibility of extension)
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Pay: $18-20 per hour on a w2 basis without benefits/No holidays

Job Description Establish and execute a daily plan for the work; may include organizing and dispatching assignments, facilitating meetings, short-range forecasting, etc.
Duties: Communicate effectively in line with supported business unit processes/procedures; may include interacting with supervision, field operations, or other operational supporting groups. Utilize various systems to monitor work, create/submit orders, and requests, observe data and make scheduling adjustments as necessary. Some roles may require a deeper dive into data review to make appropriate modifications. Support emergent matters in line with the business units’ processes/procedures; may include escalations, volume monitoring, etc. Perform business unit specific tasks as needed; may include various reporting and taking appropriate action.
Skills: Ability to work effectively in urgent situations. Communication skills Skilled in organization and time management Ability to think and work independently. Technical skills to utilize various systems
Education and Experience Required: Associate’s degree in Business or related field or/ 2-4 years of experience with scheduling or related work; customer facing; exposure to data and reports. Prefer knowledge of Utility work.
