Lead Maintenance

Responsibilities Perform the repair, installation, and maintenance of all plant equipment and buildings. Report any equipment or building condition requiring repair to the Maintenance Manager immediately. Perform preventative maintenance procedures as required. Complete all documentation as required by the Maintenance Manager. Position requires lifting and handling of heavy objects. Adheres to all common safety practices and rules, including the wearing of protective equipment and clothing as required. Assist other mechanics in maintaining a high level of productivity in the plant, including leadership and direction. Adheres to our plant hygiene standards to ensure high product integrity. Keeps work area clean in accordance with good housekeeping practices. Develop the ability to use the computerized maintenance management system to enter work requests, plan and assign work orders, and retrieve data on plant equipment. Requests all materials necessary for the completion of designated job assignments. Troubleshoot and analyze special problem areas and diagnose where the problems exist. Responsible for following all company and government policies and procedures.
Requirements High School Diploma or GED Previous experience in maintenance-related work in an industrial environment. Familiarization and working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical processing, packaging, and material handling equipment. Leadership skills Ability to read, write and understand the English language Troubleshooting skills
