The Volunteer STEMM Instructor will support CDU Pathways Programs by leading classroom instruction on-site and/or off-site at our partnering school sites.

The Volunteer STEMM Instructor will share expertise in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine with Pre-K to 12th-grade students. Volunteer in classrooms, act as mentors, and lead workshops in underserved communities. While inspiring the next generation of STEMM leaders by providing hands-on learning experiences for students.
Lead classroom instruction for Pre-K to 12th-grade students in STEMM topics. Assist in the delivery of STEMM-related activities and lessons to students in an educational and outreach setting. Work collaboratively with program staff and partners during weekly programming and community events. Support in creating program materials to enhance classroom experiences. Attend weekly professional development and lesson training. Provide a positive, safe, inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment. Lesson planning, curriculum development, and student assessment. Volunteers may need to report on student progress, address concerns, or collaborate with other team members.
