An established leader in the power and construction industries is seeking a
Corporate Counsel
to join its legal team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced attorney to provide strategic legal support to two affiliated entities within a prominent construction-focused organization in the renewable energy sector. The role offers a dynamic environment where legal expertise directly supports project execution, risk mitigation, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of complex contracts, including EPC agreements, master service agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and related documents. Advise leadership on contract risks and mitigation strategies during bid and proposal reviews. Provide post-award legal support to project teams, including contract interpretation and claims management. Support vendor negotiations and assist with commercial terms. Conduct legal research and advise on compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements. Assist in developing and resolving construction-related claims (e.g., delay, disruption, force majeure). Contribute to internal training and development of legal processes and best practices. Qualifications: Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school. Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of transactional legal experience, with a strong focus on construction, engineering, or power generation industries. Preferred: In-house counsel experience within a construction or engineering firm. Experience with claims management and contract dispute resolution is a plus. Familiarity with insurance and intellectual property law is advantageous.
