Key Responsibilities
Commercial Contracts:
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements including vendor, customer, technology, and service contracts. Labor & Employment:
Advise on employment law matters including hiring practices, employee relations, terminations, and compliance with federal and state labor laws. Real Estate Transactions:
Support real estate activities including leases, acquisitions, dispositions, and property management agreements. Litigation Management:
Oversee and coordinate with outside counsel on litigation and dispute resolution matters; manage internal investigations and pre-litigation strategies. Corporate Governance:
Assist with corporate governance matters including board resolutions, entity management, and regulatory compliance. Risk Management:
Identify legal risks and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with HR, Operations, Finance, and other departments to support business initiatives and ensure legal compliance.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. 4+ years of legal experience, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house counsel experience. Strong knowledge of commercial law, employment law, and real estate transactions. Experience managing litigation and working with external counsel.
