Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist
to support and enhance our EHS programs across multiple manufacturing sites. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, promoting a culture of safety, and driving continuous improvement in environmental and occupational health practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Compliance & Auditing Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments. Maintain and update all required EHS documentation and permits. Training & Communication Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees and contractors. Promote safety awareness and environmental stewardship across all levels of the organization. Serve as a point of contact for EHS-related inquiries and incident reporting. Incident Management Lead investigations of accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents. Identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions. Maintain incident logs and prepare reports for internal and regulatory use. Program Development Support the development and implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and best practices. Assist in the rollout of corporate EHS initiatives across all sites. Monitor and report on key EHS performance indicators. Sustainability & Environmental Initiatives Support waste reduction, recycling, and energy efficiency programs. Track and report environmental metrics such as emissions, water usage, and waste generation.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (fastener or metalworking industry preferred). Experience with Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), Machine Guarding and Ergonomics Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, MassDEP, RCRA, Life Safety, EH&S and Industrial Hygiene HAZWOPER certification preferred.
