Work Schedule: Core hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Hybrid

work model — on-site presence required as needed

Key Responsibilities Reviewed purchase requisitions and coordinated with departments and vendors to ensure product quality, specification alignment, and timely delivery, including order placement via EDI or direct vendor communication. Ensured compliance with GPO contracts, conducted pricing analysis, and negotiated terms for non-GPO products to identify cost-saving and standardization opportunities. Monitored vendor pricing changes, expedited backorders, and collaborated on product substitutions to maintain continuity in supply and service quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Experience:

Minimum 3 years in a Purchasing Department

Experience In : Experienced in issuing purchase orders, evaluating vendors, and ensuring contract and GPO compliance using automated procurement systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, EDI platforms, and GPO tools to support efficient and accurate purchasing operations. Strong communicator with excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
