Experienced CNC Programmer – Precision Manufacturing A

Experienced CNC Programmer
to join its team. This role is responsible for programming CNC machinery to produce precision components in alignment with customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming, a
meticulous attention to detail , and a
passion for high-quality craftsmanship.
MUST HAVES - PLEASE READ: Technical Skills: Proficiency with
Mastercam
or similar CAM software Strong understanding of
GD&T
principles Experience in programming for
milling, turning, mill/turn, and wire EDM
operations Knowledge of
G-code and M-code Background in
large part machining
such as shafts, gear systems, and heavy components Familiarity with
manual machining tools: lathes, mills, drill presses, saws, etc. In-place machining
experience is a plus Forklift and overhead crane operation experience preferred
Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to create or modify CNC programs Program and troubleshoot CNC machinery in accordance with operational standards and control systems Collaborate with machinists during setup and prove-out of NC programs Properly select and secure fixtures, tooling, and materials for machining operations Monitor machining processes to detect and resolve issues related to quality or tolerance Operate lifting devices and follow safety protocols while moving components or equipment Utilize gauges and measuring instruments to ensure compliance with dimensional specifications Maintain cleanliness and perform light maintenance on assigned machines Accurately document work using ERP systems such as JobBOSS and production travelers Follow safety policies and maintain a clean, organized workspace Be available for overtime including evenings and weekends, as needed Coordinate effectively with team members and other departments Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required 5+ years of relevant CNC programming experience preferred Ability to read and understand technical documentation and blueprints Proficient with precision measuring tools and basic math (geometry, trigonometry) Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively Effective verbal and written communication in English Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and desire to learn
