About the Insurance Company / The Opportunity: Our client, a dynamic company in the Insurance industry, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Commercial Lines Account Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a commercial insurance book of business while providing exceptional service to existing clients. The role offers flexibility in a hybrid environment, allowing candidates to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented setting. Responsibilities: Market account renewals and negotiate with company underwriters to present clients with optimal solutions. Utilize the Agency Management system to streamline workflow and ensure efficiency. Process client service requests, including insurance documents, proposals, and applications for new or renewal business. Review new business, renewals, cancellations, and endorsements; ensure accurate processing and transmission to clients. Verify premium transaction accuracy, including commission discrepancies. Prepare comprehensive proposals and maintain complete policy records. Manage invoicing in compliance with company standards. Maintain a deep understanding of all lines of coverage and market conditions. Function as the primary client service contact, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. Follow agency procedures and insurance company regulations to ensure compliance. Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.
Must-Have Skills: Current and valid P/C insurance license. Previous account management experience. Strong customer service and sales skills. Proficiency in using Agency Management systems. Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with cross-selling insurance products to commercial clients. Knowledge of market trends and legislative changes in the insurance industry. Ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid environment. Goal-oriented mindset with a proven track record of achieving targets. Previous experience servicing a commercial insurance book of business.
