General overview of position: We are looking for a passionate Physical Therapist who enjoys providing access to therapy for children and their families while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to provide the kiddo and family with top of license therapy care. Open to treatment of development as well as orthopedic.
Hiring Profile:
Student experience in a pediatric setting. Working post graduate as a therapist with a team of therapists. Treating a caseload of seven or more patients a day. Confidence in child led play, interventions for developmental delay, torticollis, toe walking, common orthopedic injuries, neuro muscular diagnoses like CP.
Main Responsibilities: Experience with pediatrics and optimally outpatient pediatrics EHR documentation of therapy Experience working on a multidisciplinary therapy team
Breakdown of Responsibilities: Patient treatment 80% Plan/prep/documentation/correspondence with patients, families, physicians, other care team members 10% New patient evaluations 10%
Qualifications
Bachelor's, Master's or Doctor's degree of an accredited physical therapy curriculum Certification in Physical Therapy and valid state license to practice
