We have partnered with a well-known manufacturer and are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join a team in Dallas, TX. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring our machinery operates at peak performance, while also contributing to design improvements and long-term equipment reliability. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support efforts to improve machine reliability and reduce downtime Design and modify mechanical systems to increase operational efficiency Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams on system upgrades and preventive maintenance plans Develop and implement strategies for machine performance optimization Manage design projects using tools such as SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD Document engineering changes, maintenance protocols, and equipment specifications Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, and sustainability
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 3+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments Strong knowledge of mechanical design, rotating equipment, and reliability engineering principles Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance strategies Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills Working knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
