Job Description - Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Manufacturing Engineer

to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain high product quality. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with a strong background in engineering and production systems.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and design to improve workflow, develop automation strategies, and support new product introductions (NPI).

Key Responsibilities: Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement. Develop, document, and implement optimized manufacturing procedures and layouts. Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products. Support continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen. Troubleshoot daily production issues and implement corrective actions. Specify and source tools, jigs, fixtures, and equipment needed for manufacturing. Monitor production metrics and report on efficiency, scrap, and downtime. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Master degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering. 2+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, process optimization, and root cause analysis. Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks). Experience with manufacturing equipment, tools, and materials. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing documentation. Knowledge of quality control standards (ISO, Six Sigma, FMEA) is a plus.
