Market-leading global food manufacturer is currently in search of a

Bilingual

(English / Spanish)

Maintenance Manager

with a strong background in

canned food / pouched food / retort / thermal processing

to join its team within its growing, state-of-the-art plant in

Memphis, TN . Prior experience as a Maintenance Manager within a high-risk, ready-to-eat environment with heavy automation and robotics is

absolutely essential .

Primary responsibilities:

Hands-on leadership of the maintenance team within a rapidly-expanding plant business unit, including management of salaried supervisors and skilled hourly maintenance technicians responsible for troubleshooting and preventative maintenance in a highly-automated manufacturing operation Continue to drive and influence continuous improvement and safety cultureswithin the operation Work closely with senior plant leadership in the areas of budgeting, capital expense planning, project management, asset management, and inventory control

Key requirements to be considered for this opportunity:

BS Degree , preferably within a technical or operations-related discipline Must have 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience within a

food manufacturing

plant producing ready-to-eat product -

retort

or other

low acid canned foods

(LACF) process knowledge is a significant plus Must be bilingual - English / Spanish Strong overall knowledge of maintenance principles within food manufacturing, including robotics, conveyors, packaging machines, industrial electricity, PLC/HMI devices Better Process Control School

training or certification is a big plus! Must have a strong background in

food safety (HACCP / SQF / GFSI)

and

GMPs. Must have excellent communication skills and computer skills -

CMMS

experience is essential,

SAP

experience is preferred Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer - sorry, no sponsorships
