Demand Planner Responsibilities
Translate sales data into strategic demand forecasts across products and SKUs Reduce forecast variability and build more accurate planning tools Partner with sales, marketing, and ops teams to align supply with real-time market needs Lead collaborative demand meetings that bring clarity and agility to the planning process Track and share key performance metrics to identify wins and growth opportunities Flag potential imbalances before they disrupt supply—and solve them fast
Demand Planner Requirements:
Experience in demand planning, especially within food manufacturing or fast-moving consumer goods Strong analytical skills and experience managing large datasets Skilled in planning tools like SAP or IBP and confident in Excel modeling Great communicator who can work across departments and present data clearly Always looking for ways to improve, simplify, and drive better outcomes
