Title: Business Development Manager

Hire Type: Direct Hire

Pay: $120,000-$200,000 (DOE)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Identify and develop new business opportunities across key construction markets including commercial, institutional, light industrial, and select infrastructure/energy sectors. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers, architects, consultants, and other industry stakeholders. Track project leads, RFPs/RFQs, and upcoming construction opportunities through public and private sources. Coordinate with internal teams-including estimating, preconstruction, and project management-to align on go/no-go decisions and pursuit strategies. Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and other marketing collateral in response to client and project requirements. Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, industry associations, and pre-bid meetings. Maintain accurate and current CRM records, reporting on pipeline activity and strategic progress toward business development goals. Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills

5+ years of experience in business development, client management, or preconstruction roles within the construction industry. Strong understanding of construction processes, delivery methods (e.g., design-bid-build, design-build, CMAR), and project lifecycles. Proven ability to build relationships and win work in competitive markets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple pursuits simultaneously. Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and proposal preparation platforms. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
