Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant at Med-Care Providers, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare providers and ensuring a smooth patient experience. You will work in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for administrative and clinical tasks to ensure efficient patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Interaction:
Greet and assist patients with a friendly, professional attitude. Ensure patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their visit. Clinical Support:
Assist with patient intake, vitals, and preparing patients for examination. Provide direct support during procedures and treatments as needed. Documentation & EHR Management:
Utilize the AdvancedMD EHR, Practice Management, and Billing system to accurately document patient information, medical history, and updates. Ensure timely and accurate charting. Administrative Tasks:
Handle patient scheduling, coordinate referrals, answer phone calls, and manage patient communications with precision and professionalism. Collaboration & Teamwork:
Work closely with providers, clinical staff, and management to maintain smooth daily operations. Maintain a positive and supportive environment that promotes wellness and effective patient care. Billing & Coding:
Assist with billing and coding tasks related to patient encounters, ensuring accurate documentation in line with insurance requirements. What We Offer:

Requirements
Qualifications: - Bilingual Spanish and English
Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred. Technical Skills:
Proficiency with AdvancedMD EHR, Practice Management, and Billing system (or similar software) is required. Education:
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred. Skills & Traits:
Strong computer and data entry skills. Excellent communication skills and a positive, patient-focused attitude. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Team-oriented, with a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.
