Location: District Office Essential Functions * Assists in the functions of onboarding, promotion, salary adjustment, retirement, termination and other personnel status change. * Coordinates and develops recruitment efforts to ensure that district-wide staffing goals are met; collaborates with the communications department to ensure that marketing and messaging are designed to attract and retain personnel. * Manages the information systems in Huma Resources (i.e. HR information system, absence tracking system, application tracking system, performance management system, onboarding system, etc.); responsible to provide training and support of systems to Human Resources personnel. * Responsible for position control by managing and maintaining a tracking system (e.g. by school, department, district, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring accurate data tracking of all positions in the district. * Collaborates with necessary staff to process and monitor Personnel Action Requests (PARs) in the HR system (e.g. new hires, transfers, resignations, employment changes, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring accuracy, compliance, and updates to employee records. * Conducts audit of Human Resources processes and procedures to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and alignment with Governing Board policies. * Assists the Director with employee investigations and other personnel matters. * Assists in the development of new positions, job descriptions revisions and salary reclassifications. * Communicates with a variety of internal and external individuals (i.e. supervisors, employees, schools, departments, state and federal agencies, etc.) for the purpose of providing and/or acquiring accurate and up-to-date information concerning processes, policies, procedures and related legal requirements. * Assists in performing personnel functions (e.g. interviewing, staffing, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining adequate staffing, enhancing productivity of personnel and achieving objectives within budget. * Prepares and maintains manual and electronic files and/or records (e.g. personnel files, audit reporting, compliance training, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities and issues, meeting compliance requirements, and/or providing supporting materials for requested actions. * Responds to a wide variety of inquiries of staff, district personnel, external auditors, Arizona Department of Education, investigators, vendors, etc. for the purpose of resolving problems, providing information and/or referring to appropriate personnel. * Attends a wide variety of meetings (e.g. employee orientation, staff, administrative team, etc.) for the purpose of providing information, recording minutes, coordinating materials distribution and/or supporting the needs of attendees. * Coordinates a wide variety of projects, activities and/or events for the Executive Director of Human Resources (e.g. conferences, workshops, employee benefits and recruitment meetings, etc.) for the purpose of completing activities and/or delivering services in a timely fashion. * Monitors a variety of activities on behalf of the Executive Director of Human Resources (e.g. employment procedures, employee relations issues, meeting arrangements, etc.) for the purpose of achieving goals and meeting target dates in compliance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements. * Oversee the work activities within the office (e.g. organizing assignments, monitoring progress, arranging schedules, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring completion within established guidelines. * Prepares a wide variety of complex written materials (e.g. correspondence, event programs, bulletins, reports, etc.) for the purpose of communicating information and/or creating documentation in compliance with established guidelines. * Responds to a wide variety of calls, concern and/or complaints (e.g. employees, employment verifications, community leaders, other departmental leaders, etc.) for the purpose of resolving problems, providing information and/or referring to appropriate personnel. * Schedules for a wide variety of activities (e.g. appointments, meetings, travel reservations, etc.) for the purpose of making necessary arrangements for the Executive Director of Human Resources, other administrators. * Represents the Executive Director of Human Resources in the Director's absence (e.g. patron input, district staff inquiries, etc.) for the purpose of addressing matters that require immediate attention.
Experience:
Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required. Education:
Bachelor's degree in job-related area preferred or equivalent to education, training and experience. Clearances:
Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance, IVP (Identity Verified Print) Fingerprint Clearance Card. Starting Salary:
$62,994/ Year 261 Days Position.
