We are seeking a
Protection and Relaying Project Engineer
to join our Power Delivery team. Opportunities are available in multiple locations including Austin, Ann Arbor, Boise, and others. Primary Responsibilities
Perform protective relay calculations and set point determinations. Conduct relay coordination studies using modeling software. Develop relay setting files with vendor software. Generate compliance reports per NERC-PRC standards. Support relay construction activities. Work under supervision, independently on tasks, and mentor junior staff. Travel may be required. Coordinate with other substation design disciplines. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. At least 4 years of experience in power system analysis, relay settings, or substation design. Familiarity with software such as CAPE, Aspen, ETAP. Strong communication and computer skills. Knowledge of transmission and distribution protection schemes. Experience with voltages from 12kV to 765kV is preferred. Required Qualifications
PE license. Previous project execution experience in the power sector. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sector-specific design software. Our Culture and Benefits
