VHS is looking for a qualified Nurse Practitioner - Critical Care Unit.

- Description: BC/BE: BC Will look at NP s and PA s Dates needed: ASAP ongoing the need is for a Schedule: Ideal locum candidates can provide at least 4-6 shifts per 4-week blocko Variable days evenings nights weekends as part of a 24/7/365 coverage modelo Weekend Night and Holiday work is shared equally among all team memberso Current shifts include:o 10-hour evenings o 12-hour Days/Nights Specialty skills and procedures: Arterial line placement Central Venous Line Placement Chest Tube Placement Endotracheal Intubation Lumbar Puncture PICC Placement Call: In-house night call responsibilities are shared among all team members who have completed orientation to nights. Patients per day: PICU: 4-6 patients during the day night call includes all patients assigned to the team at checkout as well as any new admission assigned to team. EMR: Epic Interview process/timeline from time of presentation: Name clear candidate submittal schedule 30-minute virtual teams interview and will confirm if they want to extend an offer after the interview. Credentialing timeframe: 90 days BLS PALS NPR certification will also look at licensure candidates Other information: client prefers to initially offer a 13-week contract but will consider a 26-week assignment case-by-case Shift Info: Day 5x12-Hour 07:00 - 07:00
