VHS is looking for a qualified Nurse Practitioner - Critical Care Unit.

- Description: • Specialty: NP or PA for PICU• BC/BE: BC Will look at NP s and PA s If provider is NP they must be Critical care certified. If they are a PA other certificates are acceptable.• Dates needed: ASAP ongoing • Schedule: Ideal locum candidates can provide at least 4-6 shifts per 4-week blocko Variable days evenings nights weekends as part of a 24/7/365 coverage modelo Weekend Night and Holiday work is shared equally among all team memberso 12-hour Days/Nights • Call: In-house night call responsibilities are shared among all team members who have completed orientation to nights.• PICU: 6-8 patients during the day night call includes all patients assigned to team at checkout as well as any new admission assigned to the team.Specialty skills and procedures: Arterial line placement Central Venous Line Placement Chest Tube Placement Endotracheal Intubation Lumbar Puncture PICC Placement• EMR: Epic• Interview process/timeline from time of presentation: Name clear candidate submittals schedule 30-minute virtual teams interview and will confirm if they want to extend an offer after the interview.• Credentialing timeframe: 90 days• Any specific items needed: will need NPR certification will also look at licensure candidate• Client prefers to initially offer a 13-week contract but will consider a 26-week assignment case-by-case Shift Info: Day 5x12-Hour 07:00 - 07:00
