About the Role
The organization is actively seeking a dynamic Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications to spearhead the strategic development and execution of comprehensive marketing, communications, media relations, brand management, and outreach efforts. In this pivotal role, you will enhance brand visibility and engagement to further our mission of conservation and education. Collaborating closely with internal leadership, you will craft and share impactful messages, manage relationships with creative agencies, and oversee the creation of diverse marketing collateral.
Your responsibilities will also encompass promoting signature events, cultivating partnerships to strengthen our local brand presence, and ensuring our branding is consistently and effectively represented across all platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with an advanced degree preferred, and demonstrate a minimum of 5-10 years of experience driving successful marketing and communications strategies.
We are looking for someone with a proven background in senior marketing roles, a strong track record of designing and implementing effective campaigns, and a deep understanding of digital marketing tools. Strong leadership, analytical, and project management skills are essential, along with exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication abilities. A genuine passion for our mission, coupled with a willingness to work flexible hours, including holidays, is crucial.
