Join a dynamic automation services team where you will be the primary robotics expert responsible for executing various projects assigned across multiple locations. Your role will involve programming, troubleshooting, and starting up robotics systems, with an initial focus on ABB robots and vision systems.

Responsibilities

n

  Program, configure, and troubleshoot ABB and Fanuc robots for automated manufacturing processes.

  n

• n

  Integrate and calibrate Cognex vision systems for part recognition, inspection, and guidance.

  n
n
• n

  Develop and implement 2D and 3D vision solutions to support robotic applications.

  n
n
• n

  Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to design and optimize robotic work cells.

  n
n
• n

  Perform system testing, validation, and commissioning of robotic systems.

  n
n
• n

  Maintain documentation including robot programs, vision configurations, and system layouts.

• n

  Provide technical support and training to maintenance and production teams.

  n

• n

  Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation efficiency and reliability.

Essential Skills

  Robotic programming with ABB and Fanuc robots.

  Experience in troubleshooting robotics systems.

  Knowledge of Cognex vision systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  4+ years of experience in robotics automation for manufacturing.

  Experience with Yaskawa or Kawasaki robots is preferred.

• n

  Experience with Roboguide is beneficial.

Work Environment

n

The position is based in a pleasant office environment with a workshop located at the back. You will work alongside a team of 3-4 robotics specialists and a controls engineering team. Travel to various sites is required, with per diem and mileage compensation provided, along with opportunities for overtime. The role offers exposure to diverse customers and integrators, enhancing professional growth.

Pay and Benefits

n

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.

n
