Cellular RF Engineer Responsibilities:

1. n

   Assist in the design, development and optimization of RF hardware circuits for consumer electronic products

   n

2. n

   Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of RF performance issues

   n
n
3. n

   Conduct RF measurements and testing in the lab to validate and debug issues

   n
n
4. n

   Perform RF link budget analysis and debug RF issues in the lab

   n
n
5. n

   Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure RF performance is met at component, board and system level

   n
n
6. n

   Perform EM simulations using tools like HFSS, ADS to optimize design

   n
n
7. n

   Domestic/international travel as needed

   n

   Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience

   2+ years of relevant professional experience

   n

   Experience designing RF circuits for cellular and connectivity products and familiarity using RF test equipment

   n

4. n

   Familiarity with RF schematic and PCB layout best practices and guidelines

   n

5. n

   Familiarity using EM tools to optimize RF design

   n

   MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Radio Frequency (RF) circuits or RF system design or Electromagnetics

   3+ years of work experience in designing cellular RF hardware solutions for consumer electronics

   Experience in cellular RF design, optimization and validation

   n

4. n

   Perform RF/EM simulation in one or more RF and electromagnetic simulation tools such as ADS, Ansys, CST etc

$111,000/year to $164,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
