This role will report to the CGWI Global Head of Alternative Investments and serve as an integral member of the Alternative Investments leadership team. The Head of Discretionary Alternative Solutions will be responsible for managing the full life-cycle of discretionary private equity, real estate, and hedge fund products. This will include driving the strategic vision for the business, developing new products and structures, and overseeing existing portfolios. This role will require an individual with private equity, real estate, and hedge fund investment knowledge, exceptional relationship management, communication and sales skills, and a strong focus on execution.

Key member of Alternative Investments leadership team - helping shape strategic decisions for discretionary business as part of the growth objectives for the entire Alternatives platform

Develop new discretionary product initiatives including fund of funds, SICAVs, co-investment programs, separately managed accounts, and custom hedge fund portfolios

Lead implementation of investment allocation decisions for discretionary alternative investment products in partnership with the relevant manager research teams and the broader CGWI organization

Portfolio Oversight Forum responsibility in partnership with Head of Private Equity and Real Estate and Head of Hedge Funds

Oversee development and production of investment materials and communications to bankers, counselors, and clients (e.g., marketing decks, roadshows, blogs, etc)

Build internal and external relationships to help drive product development and sales; be a steward for the entire Alternatives platform as a kay part of all client portfolios

Manage team of expert private equity, real estate, and hedge fund portfolio professionals responsible for development and oversight of discretionary alternative products

Participate in sales and investment update meetings

BS/BA in finance, accounting, mathematics, statistics, or related field required; Master's Degree preferred

15+ years of relevant work experience

Private equity, real estate, and hedge fund investment experience
n n - n
Portfolio implementation and asset allocation experience; understanding of how Alternatives fit within broader multi-asset class portfolios
n n - n
Strong work ethic and positive attitude among fast-changing environment and priorities
n n - n
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrable Alternative Investments sales experience

Strong organizational skills and the demonstrated ability to work productively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
