As a Lead Algorithm Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in guiding algorithm engineers and shaping high-quality clinical software. Your responsibilities will include leading medical device embedded control algorithm development toward productization, ensuring requirements are met, and collaborating closely with stakeholders, software engineers, and testers to deliver accurate and efficient solutions. This position involves algorithm development and analysis using MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow, hands-on coding in C++ and Python, as well as planning and coordinating releases that make a genuine impact on patient care.

    Guide algorithm engineers in coding, documentation, and process improvements.

    Lead development activities for algorithm engineering, ensuring medical device requirements are consistently met.

    Estimate effort and schedule algorithm releases.

    Design, implement, test, and maintain algorithms for embedded devices.

    Participate in architectural, design, and requirements engineering discussions.

    5+ years' experience with Mathworks tools and Embedded Code generation

    3+ years' experience leading a team and working collaboratively across engineering disciplines

Additional Skills & Qualifications

    Relevant master's degree or specialization related to control algorithm engineering highly preferred

    Experience developing in C

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
