As a Lead Algorithm Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in guiding algorithm engineers and shaping high-quality clinical software. Your responsibilities will include leading medical device embedded control algorithm development toward productization, ensuring requirements are met, and collaborating closely with stakeholders, software engineers, and testers to deliver accurate and efficient solutions. This position involves algorithm development and analysis using MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow, hands-on coding in C++ and Python, as well as planning and coordinating releases that make a genuine impact on patient care.

Responsibilities

  Guide algorithm engineers in coding, documentation, and process improvements.

  Lead development activities for algorithm engineering, ensuring medical device requirements are consistently met.

  Estimate effort and schedule algorithm releases.

  Design, implement, test, and maintain algorithms for embedded devices.

  Participate in architectural, design, and requirements engineering discussions.

  Manage risk analysis, produce documentation aligned with QA standards, and contribute to user documentation and training.

  Keep progress, status, and risks transparent to project teams and stakeholders.

  Stay up to date on engineering best practices, tools, and methodologies.

  Provide expert product support and give input on IT hardware and development tools.

  3+ years' experience leading a team and working collaboratively across engineering disciplines

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  Relevant master's degree or specialization related to control algorithm engineering highly preferred

  Experience developing in C

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
