This Part-Time Instructor is responsible for teaching Marketing courses for the School of Business Department. Courses may be taught in various modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery), and Blended Classes. In accordance with Rule 6A-14.064, F.A.C., College Credit Dual Enrollment Courses offered at secondary school locations, this position requires all candidates to be employed by an authorized MDC Dual Enrollment secondary school partner. Candidates must meet Miami Dade College Faculty Credential Statement faculty teaching qualifications, including SACSCOC’s Principles of Accreditation minimum criteria: A Master’s degree in the teaching discipline of the assigned course(s) or a Master’s degree and at least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline of the assigned course(s). (2025-2026 Academic Year) Responsibilities
Teaches lecture and laboratory sections Evaluates and advises students Develops curricula Recruits students Serves on committees Participates in departmental and College affairs Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications
Master's degree in Business Administration; or a Master's degree and 18 graduate semester hours in fields such as Accounting, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Management, Marketing, or Mathematics; or Master's degree in Mathematics. All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution. Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written) Ability to communicate effectively with students Ability to work well with students, faculty, staff, and the community Ability to work in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends Preferences
