The Role We're seekinganEnvironmentalHealth and SafetyConsultantwith3-5years of industry experience to join our growing teamin our Long Beach, CA office. This rolebalancesexperienceimplementingEHS programs acrossa wide variety of industries while developing project management expertise.You'llmanage EHS consulting projects, solve complex EHScompliance issues and serve as a mentor to junior specialists. What You'll Do Manage EHS projectsfor our clients providing exceptional client servicewhilemaintaining project schedules and budgets. Preparereports for our clients to follow guidance and regulations designed by EPA, DTSC, local CUPAs, Fire departments, Water boards and other federal, state and local government agencies Assist with permitting requirements and documentation (air quality, wastewater, Tiered Permitting, storm water, etc.) Conducting training for employees of client companies Providing ongoing compliance support to clients Providing various other support activities to clients to assist with their compliance efforts What You Bring 3-5years of experience in environmental consulting or related industry Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field (Master'sdegree a plus) The ability to work independentlyand lead a project team A high attention to detail and strong project management skills A personable demeanor and professional communication skills, both verbal and written Comfortable conducting trainings to groups of 10-40 people (10% of the job) Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time Computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel Why WorkWithUs Opportunity to advance your environmental career in a role that balancesstrongtechnicalknowledgewithproject managementdevelopment Hybrid work arrangement available after initial onboarding period Collegial, supportive team environment that values innovation and excellence Comprehensive benefits including Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, 401K plan (Roth and Non-Roth options) with generous company match & HSA Make meaningful contributions that directly impact California companies and help their employees work safely Professional development opportunities and support for continued education and certifications.
