Therapeutic Health Services (THS) is seeking a proactive and empathetic HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team in Seattle. This role will focus on employee relations, workplace investigations, staff training, and overseeing our employee wellness initiatives, while also supporting key HR functions that foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive work environment. This hybrid position includes three days in the office and two remote workdays. The hourly pay range is $32.00 to $40.00, depending on experience. Requirements Serve as the primary contact for employee relations, ensuring fair and timely resolution of workplace concerns Conduct and document investigations related to complaints, policy violations, and misconduct Design, implement, and evaluate employee wellness programs Develop and deliver trainings on onboarding, compliance, DEI, supervisory development, and performance management Support the creation, updates, and communication of HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook Partner with managers to strengthen workplace culture, employee engagement, and retention Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a positive employee experience Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and documentation Track and report HR metrics related to employee relations, training, and wellness Support performance management, succession planning, and employee development efforts Assist with recruitment and hiring processes as needed Assist with employee benefits and support issue resolution as needed Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve department effectiveness Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Director Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field At least 2 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar role, with a focus on employee relations or investigations Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, and workplace conflict resolution practices Excellent communication, mediation, and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Human Resources Management (SHRM) certification, preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) We offer the following benefits to full and some part-time staff: Employer paid medical/dental/vision insurance packages.
