This position is responsible for fostering connections between the University of Idaho and its alumni community. As a UI Foundation employee, this role oversees all activities and operations of the Alumni Office and fulfills all executive director duties for the University of Idaho Alumni Association, Inc. The position requires management, communication, and relationship-building skills, as well as a commitment to advancing the mission and goals of the university and UI Foundation. The incumbent serves as a member of the UI Foundation senior leadership team and maintains strong relationships with university alumni and leaders throughout the state and region. Duties may include: Developing and implementing a comprehensive set of alumni programs to enhance and expand the university’s relationships with its alumni. Leading and administering the Office of Alumni Relations and all affiliated organizations. Overseeing daily operations of the Office of Alumni Relations, including staffing, budgeting, and daily business functions. Utilizing marketing strategies to survey alumni and determine the most effective programming. Maintaining and growing revenue-generating programs and affinity groups. Administering the University of Idaho Alumni Association and related boards and associations as assigned. Identifying, recruiting, and directing alumni volunteer leaders and advocates. Performing other duties as assigned. Required Experience

Eight years in a leadership role in a non-profit or higher education organization. Five years of management experience, including setting budgets and supervising personnel. Experience in recruiting, training, motivating, and organizing volunteers. Developing, implementing, and assessing strategic plans. Additional Details
