Role and Responsibilities:
The Desk Side Support Executive is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, volunteers, and Partners. Qualifications and Education Requirements Diploma, graduate with working experience on end user computers (Desktops and laptops) Five years of experience with End User Computing activities on Workstations, Laptops Experience with Remote End user support / troubleshooting Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills Computer Imaging, Hardware, and Software troubleshooting Knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 10/11 operating system (for installation, configuration, and troubleshooting) Experience on installation / troubleshooting end user application software, antivirus software, Windows updates Experience with Microsoft Office 365 preferred Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneDrive. Proficiency in the Mandarin Language for user communication Average knowledge of English for all official communications (Read, Write and verbal communication) Working experience in SCCM/MECM/ Intune Auto Pilot / Intune MDM Knowledge on mobile device configuration (email, mobile apps) on both IOS / Android Preferred Skills Performs information technology management activities including but not limited to: Intermediate level of knowledge using Active directory (user creation, adding to AD Groups) Knowledge of the ticketing system / ITIL tools Knowledge on ITIL / ISMS framework Install new / rebuild existing workstation and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements. Knowledge of troubleshooting on normal software Install and configure systems such as supports Customer infrastructure applications Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures. Contribute to and maintain system standards. Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale. Manage acquisition, deployment, utilization, tracking, security, and final disposition of IT assets. ITIL certification / Microsoft certification is a plus
