The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring the reliability and performance of our fleet, providing top-notch service to our customers.
*Duties* - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including brake repair and equipment repair.
- Perform DOT Inspections - Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify mechanical issues and implement effective solutions. - Utilize HVAC systems knowledge to maintain vehicle climate control systems. - Execute repairs involving soldering and suspending components as needed. - Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and recommendations, ensuring excellent customer service. - Maintain accurate records of all services performed and parts used. - Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and safety standards.
*Qualifications* - Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role, demonstrating strong mechanical knowledge. - Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques. - Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. - Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. - High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are preferred.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
