HRBP for Reliability and Maintenance Engineering - Maintenance (RME-M) function in rapid growth supports the HR life cycle of the function and provides scalable talent strategies for the client's success and improvement. We are seeking an organized self-starter to act as an HR Business Partner to address client challenges.
About the Role
The HRBP for RME-M contributes to organizational and cultural development by providing solutions and coaching as an influential business partner in talent acquisition, people management, talent development, performance management, and engagement. The role also involves responding to HR-related queries from RME-M employees, adapting flexibly to changes in business and environment, offering insights through data analysis, implementing new initiatives, managing projects, and revising internal regulations in response to legislation. About RME-M
The Maintenance arm of Reliability and Maintenance Engineering (RME-M) ensures highly automated processes for faster delivery and cost-efficient operations, maintaining various Material Handling Equipment, Amazon Robotics (AR), and sortation technologies across Japan. Key Responsibilities
Support client groups ranging from 400 to over 1000 employees across Japan. Handle daily employee and manager inquiries remotely or directly. Coach and advise business leaders on organizational and people-related matters. Lead and mentor leaders through performance improvement processes. Implement programs and improve processes to support long-term contribution of employees and managers. Identify real issues and provide solutions swiftly and flexibly, considering compliance. Utilize data to discover organizational issues and make data-driven recommendations. Prepare and facilitate HR events and meetings such as Talent Reviews and team-building sessions. Collaborate within HR and promote key initiatives. Respond to fast-paced, ambiguous issues as a strategic HR partner. Create a positive working environment through stakeholder collaboration, including legal, employee relations, finance, and other teams. The HRBP must respond to diverse and ambiguous tasks, prioritize effectively, and communicate accurately with stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation skills, and decision-making are essential. Qualifications
Master's Degree in Business, HR/Industrial Relations, Leadership Development, or equivalent knowledge. Over 3 years of experience in HRBP or generalist roles, or relevant experience such as labor union leadership. Experience working with business leaders in complex, dynamic environments. Ability to influence across organizational levels and achieve results. Strong business and HR acumen, problem-solving, critical thinking, and analysis skills. Ability to handle ambiguity and multiple tasks. Excellent communication, coaching, strategic thinking, planning, and presentation skills. Business-level Japanese and English (CEFR B1+ or higher). Preferred Qualifications
