AspenTech is a leading provider of software that optimizes process manufacturing across industries such as oil and gas, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and more. Our integrated aspenONE solutions help process manufacturers enhance engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain operations, leading to increased capacity, improved margins, reduced costs, and greater energy efficiency. Our Industrial Data Fabric, Inmation, is a scalable, real-time OT/IT data connectivity and storage platform. It ingests various industrial data types from plant instruments, PLC, DCS, historians, MES, and LIMS systems, managing relational, structured, file, and image data within the ISA 95 context, uniting operational and IT data for AI and Machine Learning applications. Inmation is vital to AspenTech's platform strategy, powering advanced process control, real-time optimization, and other solutions, serving as the integration hub for our product suites. We seek an advisory solution consultant—either internal or external—to lead solution architecture for major account opportunities. This role involves working closely with regional sales teams to drive large enterprise Inmation deals to closure, articulating the platform to customers, architecting solutions, and demonstrating Inmation's fit within existing OT and IT systems. It offers a high-visibility opportunity to lead technical sales at AspenTech's most critical accounts, engaging with C-suite executives and technical experts alike. Your Impact

This is a customer-facing role requiring excellent presentation, discussion, and sales skills, alongside deep technical knowledge. Mastery of AspenTech Inmation and MES solutions, including Data Studio, Web Studio, A1PE, etc. Ability to communicate credibility to C-suite and technical staff, positioning Inmation as a critical infrastructure component. Differentiating Inmation from competitors and designing tailored demonstrations based on customer requirements. Configuring compelling demos to validate solutions for executives and stakeholders. Supporting business growth in license sales and services. Collaborating with sales, support, R&D, and partners to ensure successful sales, delivery, and project completion. Participating in new product launches within your expertise area. Travel up to six times per quarter as needed. What You'll Need

Additional requirements: Exceptional listening, presentation, demo, and sales skills, with experience selling to C-suite executives. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Over 10 years of experience with OT and IT data, control systems, data historians, and system integration. Experience in pre-sales or professional services roles with a strong background in OT/IT data space, including DCS, historians, LIMS, MES, and ERP systems. Knowledge of Purdue model, firewalls, OT integration practices, and protocols like OPC, OPC UA, Kafka, and MQTT. Understanding of IT data integration, data lakes, data warehouses, networking, cybersecurity, and analytics. Hands-on coding skills for demos and presentations, with experience in SQL, scripting languages like LUA, and familiarity with BI and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, Databricks. Motivated to learn new technologies quickly. Strong team player with excellent communication skills in English. Experience in writing bids, proposals, and project quotes. Process industry experience (Refining, Chemicals, Pharma) is a plus. Experience with AspenTech IP21, Aveva PI, or Inmation is a plus. Knowledge of other AspenTech solutions like APC, SCM, or GDOT is advantageous but not required. Additional language skills are a plus. Ability to travel globally and obtain a corporate AMEX card.
