We are seeking an
experienced Electric Motor Mechanic
to join our Indianapolis facility. In this role, you will work on a variety of
industrial electrical and mechanical equipment , including
AC/DC electric motors, generators, pumps, and gearboxes . This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on repair experience in the industrial motor repair field. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, disassemble, repair, rewind (if applicable), and test
AC/DC motors , generators, pumps, and gearboxes. Use diagnostic tools such as
multimeters, high-pot testers, growlers, micrometers, and calipers
to ensure precision and accuracy. Conduct detailed
failure analysis
and document all repair findings. Perform both
in-house and on-site repairs
following
OEM, EASA, and customer specifications . Ensure all work meets
quality standards
through accurate testing and final inspections. Maintain
organized records
of repairs, testing results, and quality control checks. Qualifications Required: 2+ years of experience
in industrial electric motor repair (not automotive). Skilled in
mechanical and electrical diagnostics
and safe work practices. Hands-on
motor mechanic
experience in an industrial setting. Preferred: Winding and rewinding experience. Familiarity with
ISO 9001 quality standards . EASA or military technical training background.
