Why the Truck Loader role is important to Bright: The Truck Loader will support the department supervisor by providing direction to the team. The Truck Loader identifies how items are to be organized, palletized, stored, loaded, and unloaded onto trucks or in the warehouse.

About You: · Previous experience in a similar role. · Experience in working in a warehouse environment (e.g., product storage, product staging) · Loading experience · Experience in leading a team. · Able to multitask several tasks simultaneously and ensure projects are completed to meet deadlines. · Maintain a valid driver’s license · Ability to drive a forklift and operate pallet jacks · Enjoys working as part of a team and collaborative work environment

Your contributions to the Bright Team: · Leading up to 4-6-person loader team · Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders by hand on pallets or truck bays · Drives forklift to move product and items from receiving or loading areas to storage or other designated areas; completes forklift inspection · Load outgoing and unload incoming trucks · Sorts and places products on racks, shelves, or designated areas according to predetermined sequence, such as size, brand, style, color, stop sequence, or product code · Ensures palletized product is accurately accounted for and delivered to meet company standards · Wraps pallet with shrink wrap and marks materials with identifying information · Records amounts of product received or distributed · Drive the company vehicle on-site to enable loading of product for shipment · Maintain asset records to ensure accuracy of inventory · Other duties assigned, but not limited to, cross-training in other departments for additional support as needed

Physical Demands and Abilities: · Availability to work a flexible schedule in evenings, including weekends and overtime as needed. · Stand/walk for up to 8 hours or more, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach · Regularly required to use hands to handle, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or crawl. · Valid state driver’s license · Regularly lift and/or move objects 50-100lbs · May use forklift or other

machinery/equipment. · Operate carts, dollies, and other moving equipment to move large quantities of inventory · Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus. · Follows all safety and company policies · Submit to a background check and drug test Requirements:
