Division Overview:
Crown's Beverage Division manufactures a variety of packaging solutions for soft drinks, craft beers, coffees, and teas as well as new energy drinks. Position Overview:
The Storeroom Clerk works closely with all aspects of the manufacturing process by ordering and maintaining a supply of machine repair parts, tools, and other supplies to support daily production activities. This person will get ordering instruction from multiple Managers and Supervisors, as well as coworkers. The Storeroom clerk must take direction from all of the Management Team but reports directly to the Plant Engineer. Starting pay is $24.8885 per hour and works a conventional Monday - Friday schedule. Other benefits include:

Duties And Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Plant Engineer, responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:
Continually optimizing storeroom inventory based on obsolescence, needed quantities on-hand, and process criticality. Inventory Control, following Crown procedures. Prepare requisitions to replenish parts, supplies and materials in accordance with Crown procedures. Ensures monthly spending budget is not exceeded unless prior approval from Superintendent or Plant Manager. Check on arrival of incoming materials to ensure they are available by due date. Materials issuing and replenishment tracking. Disperse requisitioned materials and supplies throughout the plant. Issues parts, tools, and supplies. Maintains timely ordering of materials and supplies. Ensures product order meets specifications, quality and competitive cost and delivery. Maintains storeroom cleanliness and orderliness. Receives and unpacks incoming purchase orders. Unloads shipments of materials, as needed. Receive and process orders. Check descriptions, quantity, type of package, etc. on all inbound materials against the order or packing list to ensure accuracy. Reconciles requisitions, purchase order and invoices for satisfactory payment approval. Prepare receipts for all incoming shipments. Maintain computer files for storeroom systems and tracking. Train and instruct backup storeroom clerk on correct procedures and safe practices. Keep records of goods that have been shipped and received, prepare regular inventory records. Distribute paperwork per company procedure. Responsible for all RPI system reports. Gather necessary loss and damage information necessary to return materials. Follows through to ensure material was returned and account credited. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety procedures. Reports unsafe conditions to Supervisor. Perform customer service duties as necessary, maintaining good relationships with vendors. Maintains any additional records as specified by Supervisor. Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned. Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent Experience with spreadsheet or database software Competencies
Self-Starter Ability to work independently or with a team. Strong problem-solving skills through an individual and/or collaborative approach Must be able to look at new solutions and "think outside the box." Effective leadership skills such as conflict resolution, communication, decision making, etc. Excellent time management and project management skills as well as the ability to multi-task Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong computer skills and working knowledge of various Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Access, etc.) Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate may lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. The associate may stand and or walk for up to 8 hours a day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus. Working Conditions
Generally, works in a plant environment but will be required to perform some job duties inside a typical office setting. While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic. The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures. The noise level is frequently loud.
