Scrum Master

(Client maintains right to hire after 3 months though rarely exercises this right) Location: Charlotte, NC C2C Pay Rate: $60.00 Responsibilities:
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
Partner with Product Owners, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of goals, priorities, and deliverables.
Remove impediments and foster an environment of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Monitor sprint progress through JIRA dashboards and reports, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Coach team members on Agile principles and guide them in applying best practices.
Track and report on Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and team capacity to support data-driven decision-making.
Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical outcomes.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams and departments.
Requirements:
4+ years' experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and principles (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
Proficiency in JIRA and other Atlassian tools.
Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) preferred.
