Job Description Salary: $46,243.08 - $56,370.08 ROSS (Resident Opportunity and Self-Sufficiency) Coordinator Department: Public Housing FLSA Status: Exempt Reports To: Executive Director

Position Overview The ROSS Coordinator serves as a vital liaison between assisted living residents, their families, and community resources. This role executes HUD-funded ROSS program

objectivespromoting

self-sufficiency, improved living conditions, and aging in placeby coordinating services, aligning with HUD guidelines, and fostering community partnerships.

Key Responsibilities -Conduct intake assessments, develop individualized service plans, and manage ongoing case files for assisted living and public housing residents. -Build and maintain a network of supportive serviceseducation, health, vocational, financial literacy, mental health, and elder services. -Organize workshops, life-skills trainings, group events, and informational sessions (e.g., elder-care, tenant rights, aging-in-place). -Serve as a liaison between residents and service providers; ensure referrals are followed up and support is timely. -Track, monitor, and report resident progress and program performance to HUD. -Oversee grant budget expenditures, requisitions, and compliance under HUDs ROSS funding guidelines. -Promote resident empowerment through resident councils and support informal networking among participants. -Advise on policy adjustments to enhance program effectiveness and regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications -Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Public Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). -Minimum 23 years of experience in case management, HUD programs, social services, or community

servicesparticularly

with low-income, elderly, or disabled populations. -Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements. -Valid Florida drivers license and ability to pass background/drug screenings, as needed. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HUD-related software for documentation and reporting. -Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and multi-tasking skills. -Familiarity with HUD regulations and compliance requirements, as well as public housing operations.

Preferred Qualifications -Experience with assisted living populations and senior care. -Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare guidelines and senior resource networks. -Grant writing experience and familiarity with outcomes-based metrics. -Experience establishing and managing resident councils or volunteer programs.

Work Environment & Conditions -Full-time position with potential for evening or weekend duties. -Some travel may be required for off-site meetings or provider coordination. -Grant-funded role with emphasis on program sustainability, performance, and reporting.

Compensation & Benefits -Pay Grade: 12 Salary range:

$46,243.08$56,370.08

per year, DOE. -Full benefits package including health insurance, dental, vision, retirement, etc.
