We are seeking a Psychiatrist to provide part-time outpatient coverage at a community health center located in Oakland, CA.
Assignment Overview
- Start Date : ASAP upon credentialing (approx. 30 days)
- Estimated Assignment Length : 6 months (minimum 3-month commitment required)
- Schedule : 1 day per week to start; additional days may be added if child/adolescent services are introduced
- Hours : 8-hour day (approx. 10 patients/day)
- Call : No call
- Patient Type : Initially adults; children may be added later
- Patient Volume : 10 patients/day
- Visit Duration : 90 minutes (new patients), 60 minutes (follow-ups)
- Support Staff : Care coordinator on site
- EMR : OCHIN Epic
Requirements
- Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Active California Medical License
- Active DEA
- BLS Certification
- Previous outpatient psychiatry experience preferred
