Physician / Psychiatry / California / Locum tenens / Part-Time Outpatient Psychi

We are seeking a Psychiatrist to provide part-time outpatient coverage at a community health center located in Oakland, CA.

Assignment Overview

• Start Date : ASAP upon credentialing (approx. 30 days)
  
• Estimated Assignment Length : 6 months (minimum 3-month commitment required)
• Schedule : 1 day per week to start; additional days may be added if child/adolescent services are introduced
• Hours : 8-hour day (approx. 10 patients/day)
• Call : No call
• Patient Type : Initially adults; children may be added later
• Patient Volume : 10 patients/day
• Visit Duration : 90 minutes (new patients), 60 minutes (follow-ups)
• Support Staff : Care coordinator on site
• EMR : OCHIN Epic

Requirements

• Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Active California Medical License
• Active DEA
• BLS Certification
• Previous outpatient psychiatry experience preferred
