Locums Physician Assistant - Cardiothoracic Surgery Clinic + Call Atlantic City, NJ

Assignment Details
- Start: ASAP - October 2
- Weekday: Monday-Friday, 8-10 hour days in-house
- Night Call: 6:00p-6:00a
- Weekend Call: Friday 6:00p-Monday 6:00a with rounding 7:00a-12:00p Saturday and Sunday
- Setting: Inpatient hospital-based cardiothoracic surgery
- EMR: Cerner

Clinical Details
- Retrieval of vascular tissues for bypass conduit
- Endoscopic vein harvesting
- Chest tube insertions
- First assist in OR for cardiac surgery
- Rounding, coordination of care, diagnosis and treatment, ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing, and suture removal

Requirements
- NCCPA certified
- Active NJ license
- BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 2-3 years experience including EVH and first assist
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
