The Domain Architect is responsible for leading the design and execution of architecture strategies within a specific domain such as data, infrastructure, or applications. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that technical solutions align with enterprise standards, strategic goals, and long-term roadmaps.
Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain the domain-specific architecture and technology roadmap
- Develop design standards, architecture patterns, and reusable frameworks
- Provide architectural guidance to delivery teams and enforce governance processes
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies; lead proofs-of-concept
- Collaborate closely with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years in architectural or senior-level technical roles
- Deep expertise in one or more domains (data, infrastructure, applications, etc.)
- Proven experience with architectural design and technology planning
- Proficient in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Preferred experience with cloud architecture, integration platforms, or enterprise data systems
