What You Will Do
As a Senior Manager in the Product Director Office (PDO), you are a dynamic leader with valuable experience that can provide the PDO executive team with a well-executed analysis of financial data, create proposals for how to improve profitability, influence cross-functionally to gain alignment, think strategically, and react with urgency and flexibility to changing external factors. You will work closely with stakeholders from product planning, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, R&D, and finance, to identify and execute opportunities to meet profit targets. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude towards the challenges we face and is capable of developing talent through leading by example and acting with integrity in everything they do.
How You Will Make An Impact

• Develop strategies to optimize profit for Hyundai/Genesis vehicles to achieve financial targets.
• Analyze financial data with the ability to propose enhancement opportunities to product competitiveness and drive profitability.
• Monitor any external factors, such as government and regulatory changes, in order to suggest actions with urgency.
• Align Americas SR Performance with TdC (total delivered cost) Target and develop countermeasures to minimize any discrepancies.
• Evaluate market trends, competitor strategies, and technology advancements to uncover growth opportunities.
• Active involvement with cost-reduction activities in collaboration across the enterprise.
• Accountable for on-time performance of program milestones.
• Influence cross-functionally as high as one-level up.
• Development of personnel within the group.
• Propose solutions to PDO upper management.
  

What You Will Bring To The Role

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• Eight or more years of professional experience in automotive manufacturer/distributor with direct product responsibilities (planning, marketing, and/or sales).
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience desired.
• Cross-functional team management experience is required.
• Excel, PowerPoint, Word proficiency.
• Good organizational and Data mining skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to simplify complex issues, develop compelling point of view, persuasively make case for change leading to action.
• Outstanding written & verbal presentation skills required for external and Senior Leadership interactions.
• Strong automotive technology knowledge.

• Compensation Range: $107,800 - $154,000 annual base salary
• Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
• Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.

Other Details

• Normal office duties, occasional travel to manufacturing sites.
• Work Model: Hyundai/Genesis is currently in a temporary hybrid work model. Please note that we will be transitioning to a 100% onsite work model effective Monday, July 28, 2025.
