The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the organization. As a mission-driven leader, the COO will play a pivotal role in advancing the organization’s goals to provide equitable, high-quality healthcare services to underserved communities in the Dallas area.
The COO will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to execute strategic initiatives, optimize operational performance, and ensure the alignment of daily operations with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
To qualify for the role, you must possess the following:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field preferred.Must come from either non profit or behavioral health industries Minimum 8–10 years of senior management experienceProven experience leading complex operations in a mission-driven or safety-net healthcare environment.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, nonprofit management, and regulatory frameworks.Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage change, and drive organizational performance.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.Commitment to health equity, diversity, and community-centered care.
