Responsibilities:
We are seeking a candidate for the position of Domain Architect in the AML compliance domain, with a strong technical background capable of solutioning and architecture work.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- TOGAF certification.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in a financial institution.
Essential:
- Good team player, able to drive consensus among stakeholders with conflicting viewpoints and objectives.
- Experience in people and team management in a transversal function.
- Effective communication and influence skills with senior technical associates, business, operational partners, and executives.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, cohesive architecture team, with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
- Strong understanding of business strategies and translating them into actionable plans.
- Ability to collaborate and motivate diverse teams, handling difficult conversations effectively.
- Ownership and enhancement of workflows and processes, delegating with clear accountabilities.
- Promotion of learning and development, fostering professional growth among team members.
Key Domain/Technical Skills:
- Overall experience of at least 10 years; flexible for candidates with fewer years if they demonstrate strong skills.
- Experience in a technical domain architect role is a significant advantage.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent presentation skills, both verbal and in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience delivering mission-critical, enterprise-scale IT solutions, including in-house and third-party products.
- Familiarity with formal architecture frameworks/methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, BIAN).
- Practical experience in data modeling, object modeling, design patterns, and enterprise architecture tools.
- Familiarity with heterogeneous platforms such as Unix/Linux and Windows.
- Knowledge of best practices and tools for end-to-end solution delivery.
