VP of Information Technology

Leads and manages the technology team, ensuring systems and solutions are aligned with improving the member and participant experience. Oversees the evaluation, implementation, and maintenance of information systems--including network infrastructure, cybersecurity, user support, and staff training. Drives innovation by researching emerging technologies, establishing best practices, and maximizing return on technology investments to support seamless, user-friendly experiences. This includes managing IT staff, developing & implementing IT policies & procedures, and ensuring the security and reliability of our IT systems. The role involves building relationships with vendors, staff, and other constituents.
This role functions as both an individual contributor and manager, balancing hands-on responsibilities with the oversight and development of team members.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field; or equivalent.
10 plus years in a Sr. IT Leadership role, managing a team. - Experience in either database architecture/interfaces, database application or development.
- Experience with implementing and managing cloud-based enterprise business applications.
- Solid understanding of business applications in the areas of Financials, CRM, POS, Membership Management, and B2C Portals.
- Experience with enterprise Business Intelligence solutions and/or data warehouses.
- Strong knowledge of networking, information security, and desktop and mobile devices.
- Familiar with tools in use of Software and Web development (SQL, JavaScript, CSS, etc.).
- Capable of problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
- Previous supervisory experience, ability to motivate and lead a team and demonstrate sound judgment, initiative and independent thinking.
- Strong team building and people management skills
- Strategic thinker, problem solver, and effective communicator (writing and verbal)
