We’re working with a well-funded startup transforming the defence industry looking for a hands-on technical leader to build and scale their electrical engineering stack from the ground up. This role is for someone who thrives on solving low-level engineering challenges and has deep expertise in hardware design.

This is a full time, onsite position in El Segundo, CA.

You must be a US citizen and able to obtain US top secret security clearance to apply for this position.

Key Requirements:

• 8+ years of industry experience (preferably in fast-paced startups)
• Technical excellence is mandatory. Leadership means little without strong engineering skills. Ideal candidates have built complex systems at leading-edge (non-defense) tech companies.
• Experience developing full-stack electrical products: from schematics and PCB layout to debugging and production testing.
• Proven ability to grow and lead high-performing EE teams through scale (3→100).
• Strong experience with Altium Designer
• Bare-metal embedded programming (C) on STM platforms
• Strong lab and debugging skills (scopes, spectrum analyzers, VNAs, etc.)
• PCB rework/SMT soldering/mods
• Automated testing experience

Bonus Points For:

• FPV drone systems knowledge
• Camera hardware experience
• RF, DSP, LoRa, FPGAs, and antenna design
• Control systems (PID)
