Job Summary

Essential Functions
Ensure appropriate planning of the scheduling process, collaborating with Deans and Presidents and Vice Presidents to align both College and District expectations.
Define parameters for college schedules and maintain communication to support Instructional Deans, Student Services Deans, and Presidents.
Coordinate and facilitate master scheduling process across all campuses and academic and technical units (semester credit hour sections only).
Implement scheduling policies and directives according to District, federal or state guidelines and regulations.
Develop and maintain master scheduling timeline for colleges and locations, including academic and technical areas.
Oversee professional development of division schedule Coordinators, Deans, Vice Presidents and others in creating and producing the District's academic schedule of classes and provide training in the proper operation of the scheduling software system.
Provide analysis and reporting of faculty FTE, including analyses of overloads and course releases, and collaborate with Instructional Services and Talent Engagement to ensure accurate faculty assignment loads.
Assess efficiency and effectiveness of master schedule.
Develop processes to evaluate course needs based on student academic plans, identify gaps in course offerings, and evaluate available time/space for optimizing course offerings.
Perform regular audits of schedules across the district to inform decisions about how to reallocate resources, consider class sizes, faculty experience, learner needs, and community needs.
Communicate scheduling data to administration, staff, and faculty.
Lead project planning, development, implementation, and control to ensure efficiency in meeting the needs of the district.
Qualifications

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required, Master's preferred
- 5 years' experience in course/class scheduling required. Experience in classroom optimization preferred

General Office.
