We’re seeking a Tax Manager in the Houston area to lead tax compliance, planning, and strategy across a dynamic organization. This is a high-visibility position offering a blend of technical depth and strategic influence, ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax filings Manage tax compliance calendar and ensure timely submissions Oversee tax research, planning, and implementation of strategies Coordinate and support audits and tax notices Monitor changes in tax law and advise on potential impact Collaborate with finance leadership on quarterly/annual tax provisions Mentor and guide junior tax team members or external partners Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (Master’s a plus) CPA required 5+ years of tax experience (public accounting or corporate) Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws Experience with tax provision (ASC 740) and compliance software Detail-oriented with excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills Bring your tax expertise to a leadership role where your voice matters.
