Duties
- Interface with clients and inventors throughout the patent process.
- Prepare, file, and prosecute patent applications domestically and internationally.
- Conduct freedom-to-operate, infringement, and patentability analyses.
- Assist with additional responsibilities or projects as needed.
Requirements
- 3-8 years of patent prosecution experience.
- Degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or related field.
- Understanding of machine learning, molecular biology, and sequencing technology.
- Familiarity with gene editing, immunology, microscopy, and systems biology is a plus.
- Graduated with a JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Admitted to the USPTO.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings.
